Job Description CABVI is seeking a Marketing and Public Relations Manager to be responsible for the marketing of CABVI products and services, creating and managing a favorable public image for CABVI and overseeing a productive and organized Marketing and PR department. This position is tasked with developing advertising and marketing communications, and content for publications. Job Responsibilities: • Assist the Director of Marketing and Public Relations with the day-to-day duties of the Marketing and Public Relations Department, • Assist the Director of Marketing and Public Relations with the development of the marketing and public relations team., • Responsible for overseeing the design, layout, revisions, editing and production of various publications including but not limited to the agency newsletter, employee newsletter, the annual report, and mass-mail materials., • Oversee and delegate requests for artwork for agency projects, signs, flyers, brochures, posters, billboards, logos, exhibits/displays, and illustrations., • Responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of all public events including fundraisers and community-based functions., • Oversee and participate in updating CABVI’s website. Manage the social media content calendar, content creation and execution of strategy on the following platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter., • Interface with CABVI department managers, supervisors, and other staff to address their communications needs and promotional requirements., • Assist the Director of Marketing and Public Relations with the development and implementation of the agency’s Marketing and PR strategies., • Oversee all brand management for CABVI and its Base Supply Stores., • Assist the Director of Marketing and Public Relations with management and implementation of CABVI’s media relations outreach strategy including developing relationships with journalists and media sales representatives., • Produce high-quality, informative, and interesting press releases and related materials in a timely manner., • Negotiate rates with media sales companies to obtain the most competitive prices for all direct media buys of traditional ads to achieve the agency’s goals and objectives., • Plan and manage press conferences, press events, media invites., • Assist agency staff in preparing speeches, talking points, and varied communications materials to further CABVI’s public relations objectives., • Consistently achieve annual performance objectives., • Adapts to change and completes other duties as assigned by supervisor. Job Requirements: • Associate degree in related field with at least five years’ experience in public relations or marketing required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior supervisory experience required., • Strong leadership and team building capabilities with solid decision-making skills., • Responsible for addressing complaints and resolving problems., • Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to effectively respond to all customer service demands., • Must be able to accurately take messages and complete all required documentation., • Must be able to clearly articulate during stressful situations. Must effetely interact with all staff and management., • Strong employee engagement and interpersonal skills required., • Must be patient and empathetic with the ability to apply social service communications with patients and integrity., • Must embrace the agency open door policy., • Must have excellent data entry skills and experience with databases, spreadsheets and word processing software., • Must have ability to calculate figures for a variety of reports. Graphic Design a plus. Must be willing to learn new technology., • In house position with occasional travel. Noise level is moderate.
