Job Description Join a premier Manhattan periodontal and implant practice led by internationally recognized periodontist Dr. Edgard El Chaar, known for advanced implant dentistry, complex periodontal care, and a strong commitment to education and clinical excellence. We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator/Assistant Manager! About the Practice • High-end periodontal and implant specialty practice with two modern Manhattan locations (Midtown and Upper East Side area), • Led by a Clinical Professor of Periodontics with a strong academic and lecture background in advanced implant and periodontal therapy This role is ideal for an experienced treatment coordinator or assistant manager who is ready to grow into a full manager position. You will: • Oversee and coordinate complex treatment plans for periodontal and implant patients., • Present financial and clinical treatment options clearly and confidently, ensuring patients understand the value of recommended care., • Support and help manage day-to-day operations at the 60th Street location, with collaboration across both offices, • Lead and run team meetings, support training initiatives, and help drive a culture of accountability and excellence., • Conduct comprehensive treatment presentations, including phased and full-mouth implant/periodontal plans., • Coordinate between the 35th Street surgical hub and 60th Street location to ensure seamless patient flow and communication, • Monitor production, scheduling efficiency, and key performance metrics; support initiatives to reach practice goals., • Run and document regular team meetings, follow up on action items, and support policy/operational improvements., • Train and mentor front office team members as you grow into a full management role., • Previous experience as a treatment coordinator, office manager, or lead front office role in a dental or specialty practice (periodontics/implants experience strongly preferred)., • Strong case presentation skills and comfort discussing financial arrangements., • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-end clinical environment with complex cases., • Competitive compensation based on experience, with clear growth opportunities as you move into a full manager role., • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, transit benefits, etc.)., • Professional development and CE support, aligned with a practice that is deeply involved in education and advanced training in periodontics and implants, • Work at the intersection of private practice and academia with a doctor who teaches, lectures, and publishes in periodontics and implant dentistry, • Be part of a boutique, highly regarded specialty group where your leadership and ideas genuinely influence how the practice grows, • Advance your career from Treatment Coordinator/Assistant Manager into a true management role in one of NYC’s premier periodontal practices If you are a driven, detail-oriented leader who loves both patient-facing communication and practice operations, we’d love to hear from you.
