Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Millwork Shop Manager located in Irvington, NJ. The Millwork Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the millwork shop, managing operations, and leading the team to meet production goals. The Manager will also coordinate with different departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Monitor, manage workflow, and supervise millwork staff. - Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all millwork products meet quality standards. - Monitor and coordinate delivery, assembly, installation, and/ or millwork activities. - Interact with all of the departments to ensure optimal production and on-time delivery schedule. - Monitor the cost of impacts of labor efforts and identify and manage the scope of the projects. - Manage the maintenance of the equipment to maximize its efficiency and minimize its downtime. - Update relevant stake holders or team members on the project progress. - Ensure all project activities are in compliance with governmental regulations and OSHA guidelines as directed by the company policy - Ensure compliance with all company safety policies including good housekeeping practices, safety rule compliance, and incident reporting and investigations. - Engage in continuous improvement activities. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisors. What is a Direct Support Professional? The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for implementing person-centered services for each individual. This includes ensuring implementation of the individuals services, goals, and outcomes in relation to program-based and community inclusion activities. In addition, the Direct Support Professional is solely responsible for the individual's overall physical and emotional well-being. You would be responsible for: - Under supervision, provide support and services which involve advocating for, encouraging, guiding, and teaching individuals in expressing personal choice, ensuring community integration, assisting individuals with personal hygiene care, toileting, lifts and transfers, dining, dressing, and meal preparation. - You would help individuals to participate in games and recreational programs; coach and encourage individuals to develop daily living skills; and provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. - You would collaborate with other staff to implement and record care plans and, in accordance with special instructions, you may administer medication. We are seeking reliable and experienced Construction Workers to join our in-house build team at Design Next Agency. Our projects primarily focus on high-quality interior build-outs for restaurants, cafés, and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate is hands-on, punctual, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced and team-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Site Construction Tasks Assist with demolition, site prep, protection, and debris management. Assist with light MEP work if required Execute framing, drywall, millwork, flooring, tile, painting, and finish carpentry as assigned. Install basic fixtures, partitions, and equipment under supervision. Load/unload materials and support the driver with deliveries if needed. Operate power tools and construction equipment in accordance with safety protocols. 2. Daily Workflow & Reporting Clock in by 8:30 AM and report to assigned site daily. Complete task checklist provided by the Lead or Construction Manager. 3. Quality Control & Safety Follow instructions from the Lead and CM to ensure work is done to spec.
