Job DescriptionAutomotive Claims & Customer Support Representative (Corporate Office | Automotive Expertise Valued) Turn Your Automotive Expertise into a Long‑Term Corporate Career This role is ideal for experienced automotive professionals who want to step away from the shop floor and into a professional office setting—without leaving the automotive industry behind. As an Automotive Claims & Customer Support Representative, you’ll use your technical knowledge to support customers and dealerships, resolve complex vehicle service contract (VSC) claims, and play a key role in maintaining exceptional service quality. You’ll work collaboratively with a supportive team, handle meaningful, high‑value cases, and engage with dealers and repair facilities—no tools, no grease, no weekends in the bay—just your expertise making an impact. What You’ll DoClaims & Customer Support • Handle 35+ inbound calls daily, assisting customers and dealers with questions related to coverage, exclusions, policies, and procedures., • Manage and resolve complex, high‑dollar vehicle service contract claims with accuracy and efficiency., • Review repair diagnostics, labor operations, and part applications to determine eligibility under service contract coverage., • Collaborate with dealerships, repair facilities, and independent inspection companies to validate repairs and claims., • Process correspondence and contract cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.Technical Decision‑Making, • Analyze vehicle issues, diagnostic findings, repair estimates, and service procedures to make informed coverage decisions., • Apply knowledge of automotive components, part numbers, flat‑rate labor times, and repair methods., • Clearly communicate technical decisions to dealerships, technicians, and customers in a professional, customer‑friendly way.Administrative & Team Responsibilities, • Document claim activity accurately across multiple systems while managing competing priorities., • Rotate through monthly team assignments and support general office tasks as needed., • Participate in coaching, training, and performance development opportunities., • Contribute as a true team player in a collaborative, fast‑paced corporate environment.What We’re Looking ForCore Qualifications, • Strong customer service and problem‑resolution experience., • Ability to multitask across multiple computer systems with accuracy and efficiency., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • High attention to detail and openness to coaching and feedback., • Professional demeanor with a customer‑first mindset.Automotive Background (Highly Valued), • 5+ years of experience in:, • Vehicle service contract claims, OR, • Automotive dealership service department, OR, • Independent automotive repair facility, • (An equivalent combination of automotive and customer service experience will be considered.), • Solid understanding of vehicle operations, diagnostics, repair processes, and warranty claims., • Experience interpreting coverage guidelines, labor operations, and part applications.Preferred (Not Required), • Associate degree in Automotive Technology, • ASE Certification, • Previous leadership or supervisory experience Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
