Job Description Join the Miss Lucille’s Cafe Coffee Team Do you enjoy great coffee, friendly service, and creating memorable guest experiences? Miss Lucille’s Cafe is looking for an energetic, guest-focused Barista who can shine both behind the counter and in the dining room. What You’ll Do • Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with care and consistency, • Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service, • Take and prepare orders accurately and efficiently, • Learn our coffee blends, menu items, and brewing methods, • Assist with food preparation and café service as needed, • Keep workstations, equipment, counters, and dining areas clean and organized, • Restock supplies and help maintain a ready-to-serve café, • Follow food-safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures, • Work closely with the team during busy shifts and special events What We’re Looking For • Must be 18 years of age or older, • A warm, positive personality and genuine interest in hospitality, • Comfort working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment, • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and friendly service, • Interest in learning about coffee, food preparation, and café operations, • Dependability and a team-first attitude, • Availability for early mornings, weekends, and required holidays, • Previous barista, restaurant, or guest-service experience is helpful, but not required—we will train the right person Schedule and Availability • Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, • Early-morning and daytime shifts beginning as early as 5:30 a.m., • Saturday and Sunday availability required, • Holiday availability required, except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, • Special-event availability may be needed Pay $9–$10 per hour + tips Appearance Standards This is a guest-facing role. Unnatural hair colors such as pink, blue, or bright/unusual reds are not permitted. One nostril piercing is allowed; other facial piercings must be removed or replaced with a clear retainer while working. Gauged ears must be filled and may not exceed 19mm.
