Job DescriptionPosition Overview We are seeking a motivated and caring Behavior Technician (BT) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities * Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA * Provide one-on-one therapy in home, clinic, school, or community settings * Collect accurate data on client progress * Assist clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and coping skills * Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment * Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members * Participate in ongoing training and team meetings Preferred Experience We strongly encourage applicants with experience in the following roles to apply: * Special Needs Teacher * Special Education Teacher * Paraprofessional * Teacher or Teacher Assistant * Daycare Worker or Childcare Provider * ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) * Direct Support Professional (DSP) * Youth Counselor * Early Intervention Specialist Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges is highly valued. Qualifications * High school diploma required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred) * Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to remain patient, professional, and compassionate * Reliable transportation (if required for travel) * Ability to pass background check * RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
