Job DescriptionPLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY!! We are looking for 2-3 Techs/Installers. If you have a truck you can use for work (with rack), you will hold an advantage over another applying for a company vehicle. You will be paid for the use of your truck (400.00/mo) and reimbursed for fuel. You also receive a higher piece rate pay schedule driving your truck over a company vehicle! -2 Years experience REQUIRED, It must be on your resume, or included somewhere in the application, or your app will not be reviewed any further. ***Please read that again - 2 years experience installing REQUIRED, 2 or more years in service work PREFERRED. -You need to reside in the greater Atlanta Area, North of I-20, not further east than I-85, as far north as Dalton, or as far northeast than the Canton area. Anywhere between Douglasville and Cartersville is fine! • Yearly pay of 75K-125K is performance based. We pay piecework. 75K is daily earning of 288.00 ( very easy to reach for a qualified, experienced tech ) and 125K is a 480.00 daily average. We do not pay hourly, you are hired on as an employee, not 1099. Georgia Garage has been an established garage door company since 2013. As a Garage door Tech at Georgia Garage, you will receive a company work truck, gas card, Company IPAD, Company branded apparel, as well as parts and opener inventory for your truck. Responsibilities are but not limited too: • Repair various types of garage doors and openers, • Offer different Products, buildings and applications are unique to each job ; the applicant must be able to choose best solutions for each situation as it pertains to safety, functionality and performance., • The Technician will also troubleshoot, repair and perform periodic maintenance on new and existing equipment, • Garage door installation, • This is a hybrid position that includes sales ! You must be knowledgeable about new doors, and proper measuring for headroom, openers, etc., • Experience with installing/repairing residential and commercial garage doors and operators, • Must be able to lift between 75-100lbs, use power and hand tools and climb ladders, • Be a team player with strong work ethics and positive attitude, • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively face to face with customers, • Ability to troubleshoot and think independently, • Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordRequirements:, • Complete all general garage door maintenance and service calls., • Establish customer rapport, presenting the right products and services., • Ask proper questions to troubleshoot system malfunctions., • Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding goals., • Be professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and stellar reviews., • Maintain a clean, organized job site and correctly inventoried truck., • Mechanical aptitude – knowledge and skilled in using various hand and power tools, • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and general public, • Clear communicator, charismatic, and comfortable with client interactions, • Team player; strong collaboration skills, • Be a self-starter with the ability to operate without direct supervision at all times., • Ability to troubleshoot, think independently, and problem-solve, • Basic math and legible handwriting, • Punctual and excellent attendance record, • High School diploma or equivalentExperience, • Residential Garage Door Installation/Repairs: Minimum 2 years (Required), • Commercial experience preferred but not required., • Sales experience preferred but not required, • Ongoing training will be provided in every area of the industryJob Type: Full-time, • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, must be insurable, • Ability to work a flexible schedule, • Availability to work 1 Saturday a month ( with following Monday off ), • Clean criminal background, No felonies, ever.Income and Job Perks:, • Pay based on performance and volume - The more you repair and install, the more you make, there is no ceiling with our high paying piecework schedule!, • Branded attire provided, • Easy to use software for dispatch, invoices, payments, etc., • Company gas card, • Vacation time based on performance, average tech earns 2.5-4 weeks each year, a superstar could earn 5-6 weeks paid vacation, at $30 and hour 8 hours a day!, • Sales bonuses and incentivesJob Type: Full-time
