Collaboration and consultation with community agencies, other medical providers (especially the client's primary care physician) and schools is also expected. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Provide a full range of outpatient psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and families at FSGC., • Psychiatric consultation., • Prescribe and monitor medication for the treatment of mental disorders as indicated according to prevalent medical standards of practice and guidelines from The American Academy of Child & Adolescents Psychiatry., • Psychotherapy (with pre-approval and within the limits established by the Medical Director)., • Consultation with other clinical staff of FSGC., • Consultation with community agencies, other medical providers (especially the client's primary care physician) and schools., • Supervision of other medical personnel or trainees, as requested by the Chief Medical Officer., • Prompt completion of all clinical documentation of patient contacts in the agency's EHR system within the department's guidelines for timeliness.
