Job Description RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, deadline-driven individual, responsible for all agency fundraising and communications, including comprehensive oversight of social media, content creation, donor engagement, and public outreach. A successful candidate is someone who thrives in an independent role, comfortably engages with new contacts, confidently makes direct asks, and utilizes data to improve results. This individual will find fulfillment in a role that supports an organization serving the needs of local residents. RISE offers the Director of Fundraising and Communications: • A competitive salary of $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience, • A generous time off package: In your 1st year, earn up to 3 weeks of vacation time, 3 weeks of combined sick and personal time, enjoy up to 11 holidays, and a day off for your birthday, • Medical, Dental, Vision, and many other benefits, • An opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to develop a fundraising department from the ground up, with you at the center, • A family-friendly atmosphere with wellness time, paid lunch hours, and recognition for your hard work and ideas Overview of Job Responsibilities: • Leads agency fundraising efforts, • Conducts outbound fundraising efforts including cold calls and direct asks, • Plans and manages events, • Maintains positive donor relations, • Administers fundraising database, • Develops messaging and on brand content for social media and other communications To qualify you must have: • A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field, • 4+ years of experience in business development, fundraising, communications, or digital media, • Demonstrated experience using donor-management or CRM software for fundraising, reporting, an donor stewardship, • Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and modern digital communication practices is a plus!, • Excellent organizational, communication, and people skills, • Schedule flexibility for special events, • Our shared belief system in areas such as compassion, respect, positivity, and inclusion, • Successful completion of RISE background checks, a valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to the RISE automobile policy To join our growing non-profit in a role that supports the agency’s fiscal health, and promotes the agency’s mission, goals, and values, submit your resume and cover letter for consideration RISE Housing and Support Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
