Job Description JOB DEFINITION: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing short-term acute care to individuals presenting to the Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center with a mental health/substance use crisis. The RN assesses clients, administers medications, manages psychiatric and medical needs, and supports crisis stabilization through trauma-informed, patient centered care. The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, promote recovery, and assist with treatment planning and discharge coordination. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the New York State Department of Education and possess either an Associate's Degree (if awarded prior to December 18, 2017), Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program*. Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • One (1) year of community mental health experience and/or at least two (2) years of mental health experience specifically working in a mental health setting., • Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a professional setting is highly preferred. Responsibilities: • Ensure a clean, safe and fun environment for guests in the pool area., • Greeting guests and attending to their pool-related needs including, but not limited to, getting fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, confirming registration and issuing recreational equipment, etc., • Maintain cleanliness of the pool area and equipment including furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, shower tiles, slide tiles, cabanas, umbrellas, speakers, rafts, pool toys, etc., • Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize depletion of stock., • Keep the pool deck and surrounding areas clean and organized., • Work with the safety staff to effectively communicate with clients and respond to emergencies., • Attend any supportive duties set forth by the F&B managers, • Perform general recreation duties, as needed., • CPR certification, • Minimum 18 years old and up, • The physical ability to perform routine duties including lifting and moving pool lines, lifeguard stands, and other equipment., • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
