Job DescriptionDescription: McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join our team as a Temporary Intern during our Firm’s busy annual proposal season (September through February). In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and staff to prepare high-quality, competitive proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contribute to various administrative and office tasks, as needed. You will help ensure that every proposal response is accurate and compliant with guidelines. You must be comfortable meeting strict deadlines and managing shifting priorities in a busy environment. This on-site position offers 28 to 35 hours per week and is ideal for someone seeking a meaningful, project driven role. Due to the temporary nature of the position, benefits are not included. What You Will Do: • Thoroughly review RFPs to understand proposal requirements, scope and evaluation criteria., • Draft and assemble detailed proposal responses that highlight the Firm’s capabilities and align them to the client’s needs., • Ensure that proposal responses meet all formatting and submission requirements., • Proofread and edit proposals to eliminate errors, inconsistencies and improve the overall quality., • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to gather input and supporting material., • Manage multiple proposals at once, prioritizing tasks to meet submission deadlines., • Maintain an organized database of proposals and supporting material., • Gain real world experience in a professional services environment., • Build skills in writing, editing and organization.
