Role Overview Rising Ground’s Clinical Support Program embeds professionals specializing in mental health, substance use, and intimate partner violence into child protective work in Brooklyn. Working closely with Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) staff and families, the team assesses needs, recommends services, and connects families with appropriate supports to strengthen child safety and family outcomes. As a clinician specializing in intimate partner violence (IPV), you will provide direct clinical services, guidance, training, and support to an ACS CPS team. You will assess families’ IPV needs, recommend appropriate interventions, and connect families with Brooklyn community-based providers through warm handoffs. Job Description Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Supervisor, the Counselor in the Opioid Treatment Program, Outpatient Program, or Comprehensive Outpatient Program engages the patient in the initial and ongoing treatment processes of the clinic. Must be proficient in cell block techniques and have an extensive knowledge of special stains. Minimum Work Experience Minimum (12) twelve months of experience as histologic technician or completion of the 12 month Histology training. Routine duties involve primarily laboratory-related conditions Daily functions may include incidental exposure to vapors, fumes, moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, chemical and biological hazards, patient contact, needles/syringes, waste handling Most functions require use of protective gear such as face shields, gloves, and fluid – resistant coats CareWell Health provides a salary/hourly rate range for all open positions to comply with New Jersey Law.
