Job Description Become nationally credentialed as a Certified Medical Assistant - On us! The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will serve as a key member of the patient care team in an ambulatory setting. Assisting in troubleshooting missing labs from Epic as instructed by supervisor., • Entering orders in Epic as required., • Managing a smooth clinic flow by assessing and anticipating physician schedules and using clinical space effectively., • Collaborate with Front Desk staff to expedite the delivery of quality patient care, provide an excellent patient experience and promote patient flow. This full-time position reports either directly or through a Program Director to the Clinical Director of Psychiatry in the Division of Correctional Health Services and is responsible for the clinical oversight, management, and innovative development in specific mental health treatment areas, including standard mental observation (MO) units, specialty MO units and general population clinic settings in one of the 12 jail facilities in New York City. Approximately 25% of new admissions per year to the NYC jail system will receive care on the mental health service. The service strives to provide safe, holistic and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for the diverse range of mental health issues that face the population, from serious mental illness to the natural struggles that accompany incarceration. The service provides some of the most comprehensive and unique treatment modalities in the country, including specialty housing units for individuals with serious mental illness, a 24-hour on-call psychiatric service, robust creative arts programming, a strong DBT training program, clinics in each of the facilities, substance use treatment, integrated re-entry services, and relationships with multiple training institutions throughout the city. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the clinical integrity of the specific program or housing area to which they are assigned, including ensuring that all clinicians are providing appropriate and timely clinical interventions and documentation. Depending on the treatment area, s/he manages patient admissions and discharges, monitors and engages in treatment, oversees quality assurance, manages on-going training and education for treatment-area staff, and performs other managerial administrative tasks including liaising with DOC. Job Description Therapist - Counseling Center - 60% Full-Time Summary: The Trauma Therapist position is 60% of a full-time position (21 hours per week) and is a hybrid position with 11 hours onsite and 10 hours remote. Onsite hours include 4 hours every Saturday and one shift from 12:00 to 8:00 during the week. The Safe Horizon Counseling Center (SHCC) is a New York State-licensed outpatient mental health clinic that specializes, exclusively, in the trauma-focused treatment of child and adult survivors of interpersonal violence and other forms of abuse. SHCC also functions as the mental health “hub” of Safe Horizon, the largest crime victim’s assistance agency in the country. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Health Home Navigator, in conjunction with the Health Home Care Management Staff, assists in the provision of intensive care management for clients. The Health Navigator advocates aggressively for clients and their families and/or identified social support networks to obtain the full range of services needed. The Health Home Health Navigator provides direct coaching, education, and advocacy in linking, engaging and retaining clients in services identifies in the Plan of Care. The Health Navigator will escort clients to appointments and provide and gather critical information, both in the field and in the office, with the goal of health and wellness promotion and reduction of emergency room visits and increase in preventable health and social events. By providing alternatives to incarceration, community-based sentencing options, links to meaningful services, and community-led justice interventions, our programming keeps individuals out of jail, restores community relationships, builds local leadership, and helps participants avoid further criminal justice involvement. Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the clinical practice of the Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) program. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for reviewing assessments and coordinating treatment planning meetings with stakeholders and providers. The Clinical Supervisor will also provide direct clinical support and coverage when needed, provide support with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, assist with trouble shooting and provide crisis intervention strategies for more challenging cases. Job Description Therapist - Counseling Center - 60% Full-Time (21 hours per week) Summary: The Trauma Therapist position is 60% of a full-time position (21 hours per week) and is a hybrid position with 11 hours onsite and 10 hours remote. Qualifications: • License to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State or Licensed Practical Nurse meeting above criteria within 3 years., • 2 years’ experience in a substance abuse services environment preferred., • Demonstrates clinical competence and leadership traits (e.g., decision making ability, skills in problem solving and communication, prioritizing and team building) Vaccination Requirement: Greenwich House requires all new hires to be vaccinated and recommends all employees, interns, volunteers, and on-site contractors stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines (including booster shots).
