CJA is the City's main pretrial services agency, combining operations, pilot projects, and research under one roof. CJA utilizes procedural justice practices to provide pretrial services to over 100,000 persons arrested annually in New York City. Information collected about these arrestees and subsequent case processing is maintained in the agency's internal and externally shared database systems, which are used to conduct descriptive and evaluation research on arrestee characteristics, case processing and court outcomes, and on issues and potential reforms to criminal justice policy in New York City. Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Associate Director of Clinics provides day-to-day clinical and operational leadership across two MHOTRS clinics. This role delivers direct clinical services (small caseload), provides clinical supervision to clinicians, and supports the Program Director in all administrative aspects of clinic operations. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. In addition to base compensation, this role also offers a performance bonus. The expected total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $117,000 and $148,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. Position Details: As part of the Gund Learning and Diagnostics Center team, you will report to the Associate Clinical Director and Director, Gund Learning and Diagnostics Center. You will provide neuropsychological and psychological evaluation services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Your evaluations include gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources (e.g., parents, teachers, children) and using multiple methods (e.g., psychological testing, rating scales, clinical interview, behavioral observation) to answer referral questions. You will communicate results to parents and educators in person and via a comprehensive written report. Additionally, you will offer services including remediation, organizational skills training and educational consultation. This is an exempt, full-time, hybrid (this position requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office, on a schedule determined by your supervisor in our NYC headquarters office. You Will: * Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents and young adults, including the use of personality measures and projectives, autism evaluations (including the use of the ADOS-2 and ADI-R), early childhood developmental evaluations, and evaluations with ID/DD populations. * Provide cognitive remediation, organizational skills training and school consultation for children with learning disorders, ADHD, or other behavior problems. * Advocate for children with accommodation requirements in educational and legal settings. * Collaborate with our clinical colleagues, including receiving and providing consultation, to support team-based care within our practice. * Provide training or clinical supervision to trainees, including psychologists, social workers, and licensed mental health counselors. * Conduct workshops, presentations, and webinars on children's mental health topics for community outreach. * Ensure all clinical documentation requirements are met. * Perform additional job-related duties as needed.
