Dr. Melita Psychological Services, PLLC | ATILEM® \n Manhattan, New York | Full-Time | In Person About Dr. Melita Stancil\n Dr. Melita Stancil is a Clinical-Community Psychologist, founder of Dr. Melita Psychological Services, PLLC, and creator of the ATILEM® Therapeutic Frame. Her Manhattan-based concierge practice serves discerning individuals and families, including ultra-high-net-worth families, prominent professionals, elite performers, and people navigating complex psychological and family systems. \n The work is deliberately broader than a conventional private practice. Dr. Stancil is building an original intellectual and public platform at the intersection of clinical science, family and community systems, culture, human flourishing, and joy. The evolving ecosystem includes bespoke clinical care, parent coaching, intensives and retreats, books, research, keynote speaking, podcasts, media, public education, and future professional training and certification. \n Behind an ambitious clinical and public life is an equally consequential personal one. Dr. Stancil is seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant / Lifestyle Manager to protect the health, relationships, restoration, presentation, and practical infrastructure that make sustained clinical excellence and public impact possible. \n This role is less about performing errands than creating ease, preserving capacity, and ensuring that the details of life are handled with foresight, taste, discretion, and complete follow-through. The Mandate\n The Personal Assistant / Lifestyle Manager owns personal execution across a deliberately ordered hierarchy: \n Spiritual life → Health, rest, and restoration → Family and relationships → Clinical responsibilities → Legal and administrative obligations → Professional and creative work \n You will coordinate the practical details that protect these priorities and work in close partnership with the Executive Assistant so personal logistics, public commitments, travel, and the practice calendar function as one coherent life. Lifestyle and Personal Operations\n\n • Coordinate personal and family calendars, appointments, celebrations, gifts, reservations, transportation, travel, deliveries, purchases, returns, wardrobe, packing, household projects, and other private logistics.\n, • Own advanced personal calendar stewardship within the EA's integrated master calendar, including holds, buffers, preparation, transportation, time-zone management, recovery, and the sequencing required to protect the priority hierarchy.\n, • Manage medical and wellness coordination, including appointments, records, prescriptions and supplies, transportation, preparation, follow-up, and the practical details required to support complex health needs without making the principal manage the process.\n, • Protect rest, spiritual commitments, family time, recovery periods, nutrition, movement, restorative travel, and a systematic joy calendar as real operating priorities rather than optional activities displaced by work.\n, • Manage household and personal vendors, service standards, estimates, scheduling, access, quality control, payments for approval, repairs, deliveries, and resolution of ordinary problems.\n, • Research options with care, compare cost, quality, availability, timing, and cognitive load, and present a concise recommendation when the principal's decision is genuinely required.\n, • Learn and retain preferences across clothing, food, travel, hospitality, personal care, environments, brands, gifting, and routines without repeatedly asking Dr. Stancil to reconstruct them.\n, • Maintain exceptional confidentiality concerning health, family, finances, spirituality, relationships, residence, travel, and professional life.\nSpeaking, Podcast, Media, and Day-of Support\n Own the personal and logistical execution surrounding speaking engagements, podcast recordings, media appearances, panels, TEDx opportunities, book events, photography, and other public commitments. \n Responsibilities include: \n\n • Coordinating transportation, travel, hotel, wardrobe, tailoring, grooming, packing, meals, hydration, medications, devices, chargers, presentation materials, personal items, and contingency supplies.\n, • Providing studio, green-room, backstage, hotel, and day-of support so Dr. Stancil can concentrate on the audience, ideas, and performance rather than practical details.\n, • Working from the Executive Assistant's engagement plan and professional briefing while maintaining clear ownership: the EA coordinates the opportunity and professional readiness; the PA ensures personal, physical, and logistical readiness.\n, • Anticipating sensory, health, weather, travel, wardrobe, food, and recovery needs before and after high-demand public appearances.\nThe Person We Are Seeking\n We are seeking someone who brings maturity, discretion, judgment, and a genuine orientation toward high-touch personal service. \n Ideal qualifications include: \n\n • Five or more years supporting a founder, executive, physician, entertainer, athlete, public figure, UHNW principal, or private household in a complex, high-touch environment.\n, • Naturally anticipatory and resourceful, with the ability to understand the difference between completing an assigned step and accomplishing the desired outcome.\n, • Excellent taste without imposing it, and a service orientation without subservience, overfamiliarity, or loss of professional boundaries.\n, • Comfortable moving in the same day among a private residence, Madison Avenue office, physician's practice, airport, hotel, studio, luxury retailer, restaurant, retreat venue, and ordinary service environment.\n, • Stable, calm, and adaptable when arrangements change.\n, • Able to receive direct feedback, correct course, and continue without defensiveness or personalization.\n, • Strong judgment about privacy, access, timing, and what should remain invisible. The best support often means the detail was anticipated, the problem was resolved, and life continued.\n, • Valid driver's license preferred.\n, • Ability and willingness to coordinate and participate in domestic and possible international travel as needed.\n, • A genuine long-term orientation toward private service and professional support, rather than viewing the role as temporary access to launch an unrelated venture or redirect the principal's platform.\nReporting, Schedule, and Working Style\n This position reports to the Executive Assistant and works in close daily coordination with Dr. Stancil. \n The Personal Assistant may direct the part-time Administrative Assistant on approved personal, speaking, and professional-support tasks. \n This is a full-time, salaried position requiring 40 or more hours per week, primarily in person across Manhattan, with flexibility for: \n\n • Early mornings\n, • Evenings\n, • Weekends\n, • Travel\n, • Medical care\n, • Public appearances\n, • Time-sensitive personal matters\n, • Possible international travel\n\n The first six months are fully in person. \n Following the six-month assessment, limited remote flexibility may be considered for approved planning and coordination work that does not compromise personal coverage, responsiveness, confidentiality, or seamless integration with the EA. Compensation and Advancement\n Starting compensation: $68,000 annually \n The position has a transparent two-year progression with a formal advancement review every six months. \n Advancement is earned through documented evidence of: \n\n • Role mastery\n, • Accuracy\n, • Judgment\n, • Ownership\n, • Reliable follow-through\n, • Reduced supervisory load\n\n Time in the role alone does not establish readiness for the next compensation band. \n Compensation Progression \n Entry: $68,000 \n 6 Months: $72,000 \n 12 Months: $76,000 \n 18 Months: $80,000 \n 24 Months: $84,000 \n This progression is contingent upon successful advancement reviews and demonstrated mastery of the expectations associated with each level. What Success Looks Like\n Success in this role is not measured simply by how many tasks are completed. \n It is measured by how effectively you create ease, continuity, and protected capacity for the principal. \n The strongest candidate will become someone Dr. Stancil can trust to see around corners, manage complexity quietly, protect what matters, and ensure that personal life and professional life operate with exceptional precision. \n This is a high-trust role for someone who takes genuine pride in making an extraordinary life function beautifully behind the scenes.
