Job Description Job Title: Quality Control Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in manufacturing processes by setting up and monitoring SPC collecting activities, releasing jobs prior to manufacturing, and complying with ISO and customer QC standards, procedures, and specifications. You will also prepare First Article Inspection packages in accordance with AS9102, develop quality inspection plans, and participate in root cause and corrective action processes using the 8D methodology. Shift/Pay: • 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri (prepare to stay later), • Setup and monitor SPC collecting activities., • Release all jobs prior to manufacturing., • Comply with ISO and customer QC standards, procedures, and specifications., • Prepare First Article Inspection packages in accordance with AS9102., • Develop quality inspection plans, PFMEA, control plans, and flow charts as required., • Track and upkeep PPAP requirements., • Participate in root cause and corrective action items utilizing 8D methodology., • Train quality inspectors on proper inspection techniques., • Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections using CMM/Layout Inspection to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications., • The work environment includes exposure to non-toxic chemicals, chemical aroma, and dust., • Physical demands are light lifting, and there is a chance of exposure to flying debris and contact with oil in the shop, • Eye protection is provided by the employer to reduce the chances of physical dange Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coral Springs, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
