Job Description Employment Details: • Recognized Civil Infrastructure Consulting firm in the US & Canada, • 100% employee owned, • Full Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, and 401K match, • Sign on bonus opportunity, • Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment plant retrofit, design build, progressive design built, etc., • Work on engineering planning, design, and manage projects of medium to large size for Municipal and Water Districts clients in the region, • Manage a variety of pipeline materials including: ductile iron, steel, PVC, HTPE, etc. for yard-piping projects, • Design Management of Water / Wastewater Treatment systems (I.e. Digesters, Tertiary Treatment systems, Clarifiers, Storage Tanks, etc.), • Assist in client relations and business development pursuits across the south Florida region, • Prepare reports, develop plans, and specifications, • Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects, • Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, • Permitting and preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables, • Data entry and analysis, • Provide engineering services during construction, • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental Engineering, • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE), • 4-10 years of experience in water / wastewater treatment plant design and project management engineering, • 3+ years in Project Management for municipalities / water districts in south Florida (i.e. South Florida Water Management District, Broward County, Palm Beach County), • Strong design of Water/Wastewater treatment systems for municipal clients, • Extensive experience with large diameter pipe and directional drilling, • Experience with designing, planning, and commissioning of Ultra-Violet (UV) treatment systems for municipal Wastewater, • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (+)
