Job Description We are seeking a full-time HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00 pm. After training is complete you will be a part of the on-call rotational schedule. Our Starting pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour based on your work experience, skills and whether you have your Type II or Universal EPA certification. If not, no worries we will invest in you and pay the cost of your exam and study materials. You are required to take the exam within 60 days and when you pass we will increase your rate of pay! The Maintenance Technician proactively and responsively performs technical and mechanical work for their designated location. The Maintenance Technician is responsible to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings, apartments, amenities, grounds, and common areas of the property meet standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, functionality and resident appeal. Essential Duties • Proactively inspect buildings, grounds, and other community features for safety and curb appeal and participate in all maintenance and repair of equipment, apartments, property grounds, building interiors and exteriors within the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repair, • High School diploma or equivalent or general education degree (GED): or one to three months’ related experience and/or training in a vocational environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience, • Proficient customer service and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with residents, clients, team members, and other business contacts, • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, • Work is performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures with occasional indoor work and involves moderate exposure to hazards or physical risks with exposure to paint fumes, solvents, adhesives, etc., • Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, • Paid Time Off, • Renewal Commissions shared monthly with maintenance and leasing, • Paid Holidays, • 401k Plan, • 20% off rent at our community, • Quarterly Maintenance Bonus

Job Description Job Description: · Troubleshoot, repair and perform inspections on overhead cranes and hoists. · Respond to repair calls at customer facilities. · Evaluate problems and make repair recommendations. · Perform inspections on overhead cranes and hoists. · Perform preventative maintenance when necessary. · Document work performed by completing job tickets, part requisition sheets and inspection forms. This paper work will be submitted in a timely manner and attention to accuracy is a must. · Use good time management skills to provide good response time and perform work in a timely manner. · Maintain company equipment including trucks, lifts and tools in a safe and proper working order. · Verbal communication with the customer shall be in a professional, courteous and respectful manner. · Comply with Accent’s safety policy as well as the safety requirements and procedures of each customer. · Comply with OSHA rules and regulations. · When driving an Accent vehicle comply with all local, state and federal requirements. Qualifications: · Valid commercial driver’s license or ability to get one within one month and the ability to meet our driving record requirements. · Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings as well as DOT medical examinations. · Willing to travel to job sites primarily in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. Some travel outside of the Midwest may be required at times. · Ability to lift, slide and lower items that may upwards of 100 lbs. · Ability to climb ladders and use manlifts to make necessary repairs at heights that may exceed 30 feet. · Knowledge and experience operating various hand tools. · Knowledge and work experience with three phase power, electrical troubleshooting, motor control logic, electrical repairs and mechanical concepts. Experience with adjustable frequency drives is a plus. · Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and equipment manuals as necessary to perform maintenance and repair of equipment.
