Job Description Job Title: Accounting Manager Location: Mesa, AZ Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, optimizing financial processes, supporting strategic decision-making, and overseeing HR and payroll functions. This is a confidential position that requires a high level of integrity and discretion. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Oversight:, • Provide leadership in all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting., • Monitor financial performance against established targets and make recommendations for improvement., • Compliance:, • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements., • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes in company procedures., • Financial Strategy:, • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the overall goals and objectives of the company., • Internal Controls:, • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks., • Continuously evaluate and enhance internal control systems., • Financial Reporting:, • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports as required by company leadership and the Parent company., • Audit and Taxation:, • Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings., • Ensure timely submission and accurate documentation for audit and taxation purposes., • Budgeting:, • Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets., • Monitor budget performance and provide guidance for cost control., • Cash Management:, • Oversee cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships to optimize cash utilization while ensuring liquidity., • Team Leadership:, • Manage and develop the finance team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship., • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the department., • Financial Technology:, • Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and technologies to improve efficiency and data accuracy., • HR Oversight:, • Oversee HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and procedures., • Payroll:, • Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing., • Stay current with payroll regulations and implement necessary changes in payroll procedures., • Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless integration between payroll and HR functions. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field., • Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role., • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations., • Exceptional financial analysis and modeling skills., • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems., • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
