Job Description Are you a self-motivated person who prefers to work with minimal supervision? Do you want to help injured people achieve the justice they deserve? This is a full-time job where you are expected to answer the phone and speak to potential and new clients, so you absolutely must be able to work in the office for 40 hours per week. During the first 90 days of employment, the pay starts at $22/hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for an increase after that. After successful completion of the 90-day probation period, health insurance and a retirement plan will be offered. We need a Receptionist/Legal Intake Specialist with experience in Personal Injury, specifically pre-litigation, as well as dealing with clients and insurance companies. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal handholding. We look forward to reviewing your application. Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for important work, including: • Signing up new clients (In-person and electronically), • Writing letters, • Answering phones, • Handling initial intakes of potential clients, • Meeting with clients and potential clients, • Organizing files, • Opening claims with insurance companies, • Scheduling, • Requesting medical records and bills, • Scanning and copying documents, • Data entry into the case management system, • Filing, • You smile when you answer the phone, • You are an amazing scheduler with a sickening degree of attention to detail, • You are very good with calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, word processing, and the internet, • Your middle name is “No Drama.”, • You are an awesome juggler of tasks and can change gears quickly, • You are hardworking and goal-oriented, • You are willing to follow instructions, • You are a professional and would like to grow within our law office, • You are fluent in Spanish (required), • You are always punctual, • You are polite even when the client or insurance adjuster is rude, • You are a person that others in the office and my clients can rely on, • You work best with little or no supervision, • You are proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, • You write excellent letters and emailsAbout Company We are an enterprising Personal Injury law office located in the city of La Palma, California, that is on track for aggressive growth.
