Job Description The Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island’s Trauma Recovery Center (JCCGCI’s TRC) is dedicated to promoting equality, justice, and healing in our community. We are committed to providing support and resources to individuals affected by violent crime and trauma through our Trauma Recovery Center. The Clinical Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services within the Trauma Recovery Center (TRC). This task-oriented position requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to supervise, guide, and support a diverse team of clinicians. The ideal candidate will champion culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and uphold the Core Values of the TRC. The Clinical Supervisor reports directly to the Program Director. This position requires a commitment of 18–20 hours per week, with at least 30% of those hours to be completed in person at the TRC headquarters. Responsibilities: • Provide weekly individual supervision to at least six staff clinicians and interns., • Facilitate monthly group supervision and lead high-risk case discussions., • Monitor clinical capacity and address fluctuations in caseload., • Develop and enforce clinical care policies and procedures., • Maintain on-call and intake schedules., • Support DEI initiatives, collective care, and professional development efforts., • Attend bi-weekly research/administrative meetings to review metrics and billing., • Collaborate with front desk staff to enhance coordination and train on professional boundaries., • Meet weekly with the Program Director to discuss progress and emerging issues., • Conduct annual safety and de-escalation training for TRC staff., • Deliver presentations and workshops for community partners., • Represent TRC at Sexual Assault Response meetings and liaise with the District Attorney’s Victim Services Office., • Ensure timely, accurate documentation in compliance with TRC policies and standards., • Oversee service utilization and outcome data to support program evaluation., • Collaborate with leadership to analyze trends and enhance clinical effectiveness., • LMHC or LCSW required., • LCSW/SIFI highly preferred., • Current and unrestricted license to practice in the State of New York., • Minimum of 5-year experience providing Clinical Supervision to Trauma Therapists., • Demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals., • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatments for trauma., • Excellent leadership and communication skills., • Ability to establish a supportive and collaborative working relationship with staff., • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds., • Cultural-humility, empathy, agility, and respect consistent with the TRC's Core Values.
