Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Lead Medical Assistant to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Edison Office. The Lead Medical Assistant will be responsible for supervising and supporting medical assistants, ensuring high-quality patient care, coordinating clinical workflows, and serving as a liaison between staff and providers. Job Title: Lead Medical Assistant Salary/Pay Rate: $25-27/ hour, depending on specialty and experience Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Paid time off, sick time, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, accident, and critical illness), life insurance, 401(k) with Company match, yearly bonus Job Title Duties (not limited to): • Supervise and mentor medical assistants to ensure proper clinical practices., • Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations and procedures., • Oversee patient flow to optimize efficiency and minimize wait times., • Train new medical assistants and provide ongoing staff development., • Assists providers with patient exams, taking vitals, preparing rooms, casting, • Communicate between providers, management, and MA staff., • Handles lab results and follow-ups, • Ensure accurate documentation in EMR systems and compliance with HIPAA., • Monitor inventory and conduct audits (e.9., expired meds, narcotics), • Act as a resource for resolving patient and staff concerns., • Participate in ad hoc projects to support clinical operations. Maintain Licensure or Certification: • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification required., • CPR/BLS certification required. Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required: • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in healthcare preferred., • Minimum 3–5 years of medical assisting experience., • Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred., • Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and EMR systems., • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
