We are currently hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in Fort Collins, CO. Job Summary: We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide medical care, medication management, and clinical oversight in a detox and residential substance use disorder treatment setting. This role emphasizes patient stabilization, interdisciplinary collaboration, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance, allowing clinicians to practice thoughtfully in a structured, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, • Provide medical monitoring and medication management in detox and residential care, • Stabilize patients with substance use disorders to support engagement in treatment, • Order and review medications, labs, and urine drug screens (UDS), • Document all medical care in the electronic medical record (EMR), • Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review (UR) teams, • Ensure compliance with state regulations, JCAHO, CARF, and ASAM standards, • Manage daily and weekly patient schedules efficiently Required Qualifications: • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in Colorado, • Valid Colorado medical license, • Active DEA registration, • Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health (1+ year preferred), • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication, • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team What Sets Us Apart: This is an in-person role in a detox and residential treatment setting where clinicians are trusted to practice with integrity and compassion.
