Job Description Position: Fabrication Lead Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr Schedule: Monday - Thursday - 6 am - 4:30 pm Location: Mesquite, TX Position Summary Lead daily fabrication operations by coordinating staff, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving efficient production processes. Key Responsibilities • Lead and direct the fabrication team in production, assembly, and testing of manufactured parts, • Ensure materials are inspected and meet quality standards in collaboration with operators, • Organize workspace and ensure materials are staged properly for production needs, • Prepare jobs by gathering required tools, parts, and materials, • Support all fabrication processes, including CNC Laser, Press Brake, Hydraulic Tube Bending, and Welding, • Troubleshoot equipment issues and submit repair requests as needed, • Assist with equipment changeovers and provide support across departments when needed, • Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with company policies, • Complete and submit all production documentation to the Supervisor at the end of each shiftSupervisor Responsibilities, • Oversee and manage a team of 8–10 employeesRequired Skills & Abilities, • Strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail, • Solid knowledge of welding procedures, • Proficiency with calipers, tape measures, and digital angle finders, • Ability to read blueprints and apply basic math skills, • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, • Strong commitment to workplace safetyEducation & Experience, • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Lead role, • 2+ years of welding experience (certification preferred), • Forklift experience required, • High school diploma or GED preferred, • Bilingual (English/Spanish) requiredPhysical Requirements & Work Environment, • Requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, • Work performed in a warehouse environment around moving machinery, equipment, and vehicles, • Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and uneven surfaces When contacting us, please ask for the hiring team to ensure your application is directed to the right person.
