As a Construction Project Manager, you'll lead multiple hospital projects end-to-end - owning schedule, budget, and quality - while partnering with architects, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders to keep work moving and standards high. You'll manage bidding and awards, run weekly status meetings, conduct milestone site visits and punch walks, and ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and up to VEG's quality bar - all while building strong relationships with our VQ and hospital teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Manage multiple projects with full responsibility for developing the schedule, cost management, and quality of the completed project., • Participate in the bidding & awarding of projects, • Supervise assigned projects and provide reports on timeline and progress, • Perform final punch list inspections and ensure all work adheres to VEG's quality standards, • Interact with the Design & Construction team to resolve issues regarding design, engineering, and construction, • Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures and construction/design issues, • Develop and maintain good working relationships with our front line teams, • Attend weekly meetings with contractor & architects to discuss status of all existing projects, • Maintain consistent communication with Property Manager/Landlords as needed, • Attend milestone site visits for each project, • Build & maintain strong relationships with VQ & local leadership teams WHAT YOU NEED • Bachelor's degree required, • 5+ years experience in multi-site project management, • Minimum 5 years of experience owner side retail construction project management, • Experience in interior fitouts, building from ground up, and remodeling open businesses, • Strong ability to negotiate with contractors and hold them accountable for delivering projects on time, on budget, and within VEG's quality standards, • Strong organizational skills & precise attention to detail, • Tech & software savvy, proficient in Procore is a huge plus, • Effective communication and follow up skills, • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time WHO YOU ARE • Empathetic, instinctively taking a people-centric approach, whether supporting your colleagues or making an effort to understand different perspectives, • Have a sense of humility; acknowledging mistakes, sharing credit with others, and lifting up your team's' accomplishments, • Feel a strong sense of ownership over your work, taking responsibility for outcomes and staying committed to achieving long-term, impactful results, • Curious by nature; you ask insightful questions and continuously seek out opportunities to learn and grow your skills and knowledge HOW WE INVEST IN YOU • Competitive Compensation Including ($120,000-$145,000) + bonus + benefits., • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits that start on day one, and access to free therapy or counseling, • Paid parental leave, up to 10 weeks at 100% of regular salary, and offering inclusive fertility and family-building care for all types of families, • Unlimited PTO to use for vacation or sick days—however you need it!, • Generous employee referral program, so our awesome people can bring in more awesome people., • And the little (big) things, like casual office attire, ability to bring your fur baby to work, cool VEG swag, food in the fridge for when you're hungry and free lunches twice a week!!, • Company laptop and a monthly cell phone reimbursement BETTER TOGETHER: WHY IN-PERSON MATTERS AT VEG HQ Our hospitals thrive on in-person collaboration, and VQ is no different.
