Job Description Dietary Aide Rate: $16.50- $19.16/hour (depending on experience) Shift: Full-Time, Part-Time Schedule: Flexible Taconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Hopewell is looking to add a Dietary Aide to its team. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve meals according to resident dietary needs, portion guidelines, and established meal schedules, • Assist with food preparation, portioning, and distribution of meals, snacks, beverages, and nourishments, • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, equipment, dishes, utensils, and workspaces, • Operate dietary equipment safely and accurately record food, beverage, and equipment temperatures, • Assist with inventory, stocking, receiving, and proper storage of food and supplies, • Transport meal carts and food trucks throughout the facility in a safe and timely manner, • Accommodate resident preferences and special dietary requests whenever possible, • Follow food safety, infection control, HIPAA, safety, and facility policies and procedures, • Report equipment issues, hazards, accidents, and resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent, • Preferred: Some food service experience, • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, and staff, • Dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment BENEFITS: • Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-Time, • Weekly or Same-Day Pay Options, • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Life Insurance, • Employee Referral Bonus Program, • Retirement Saving Options
