This position will be on the Atlanta, GA campus. The role must adhere to the College's in-person work schedule. Incumbent in this position may be expected to travel and remain flexible to on-site shifts due to client schedules and/or project requirements. The Georgia Tech College of Lifetime Learning is a research-driven academic college advancing learning across the full arc of life. Founded in 2024, the College integrates research, teaching, and real-world practice to design learning systems that adapt over time and support learners through multiple life and career transitions. Partner Academics is a collaborative team within the College of Lifetime Learning that helps bring Georgia Tech's online academic programs to life. We support the planning, launch, and ongoing operations of online degree programs developed in partnership across the Institute. Today, the team supports 20 academic programs, with additional programs coming online in the year ahead. We work closely with faculty, academic units, learners, and campus stakeholders to ensure programs run smoothly and deliver a strong academic and student experience. Our work spans academic operations, course and faculty coordination, learning systems support, and navigating Institute requirements. We partner with faculty and program leaders to turn ideas into high quality, scalable learning experiences, especially in the online space, and play an important role in helping Georgia Tech meet the evolving needs of learners and the workforce. Supervise and coordinate administrative services within a large campus unit. Areas of responsibility can include administrative affairs associated with human resources, purchasing, budgets and financial records and general clerical support within the unit. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: unit management and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: unit management and staff. This position will supervise: assigned unit administrative personnel. Job Duty 1 - Develop and implement unit administrative processes and procedures consistent with overall Institute administrative policy Job Duty 2 - Define and communicate administrative staff duties; monitor performance and provide feedback Job Duty 3 - Supervise the maintenance of unit financial records Job Duty 4 - Oversee unit human resources administration, including transaction processing, time reporting and records maintenance Job Duty 5 - Supervise and coordinate direct administrative support to unit management Job Duty 6 - Organize and supervise unit records management function Job Duty 7 - Coordinate unit purchasing activities including preparation of purchasing documents, ordering and maintaining supplies, etc. Job Duty 8 - Schedule and organize meetings and other events Job Duty 9 - Perform other duties as assigned • Oversee academic operations communications, ensuring timely, clear coordination across faculty, TAs, academic units, and internal stakeholders, • Manage TA hiring and placement processes, including coordination, tracking, onboarding readiness, and alignment with course and program needs, • Summarize and analyze operational and academic reporting, translating data into concise insights for leadership and program teams, • Coordinate course scheduling across approximately 20 academic programs, supporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment with instructional plans, • Assist with tuition reconciliation, supporting data validation and coordination with finance and program leadership, • Manage and track GRA/GTA stipend processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution, • Serve as a backup for time reporting, payroll, and operational reporting, ensuring continuity and coverage across the team, • Support the development and refinement of administrative processes to improve efficiency, clarity, and scalability as programs grow Other Required Qualifications Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Required Experience Six to eight years of job related experience Additional Preferred Qualifications Requires experience working with academic program directors, faculty, and key stakeholders to manage and grow credit and professional Master's programs; Skills in problem solving, customer service, and developing process documentation Lead and participate in cross-functional teams in a matrix organization Preferred Educational Qualifications Master's Degree SKILLS This position requires supervisory and organization skills, knowledge of general office administrative processes and practices, records management and event planning.
