Job DescriptionPassaic County Community College is seeking a Fitness Court Ambassador who will report to the Athletic Director. The Fitness Court Ambassador will be required to manage and conduct programming for the College's newly established Outdoor Fitness Court (as part of the National Fitness Campaign). This staff member will interact with students, faculty, staff and community groups to maximize the use of the court. Some evenings and weekends are required. This role requires the ability to recognize and discuss signs of autism, as well as an understanding of diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum and behavioral disorder. As part of an interdisciplinary clinical team, the BCBA collaborates with other professionals to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote skill development and improve quality of life for clients. Full-time BCBAs are expected to dedicate their professional practice exclusively to Graham Behavior Services and may not provide ABA therapy through other agencies while employed full time. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ability to work independently., • Communicates effectively and appropriately to patient, family and other health care providers., • Completes required paperwork., • Provides patient education about the PICC (or midline) insertion and the care and maintenance issues post insertion, • Participates in performance improvement activities by providing information about each PICC (or midline) insertion to the facility staff as requested, • Demonstrates ability to assess patient past and current medical history including laboratory values, venous and muscle skeletal status that is pertinent in qualifying a patient as a candidate for PICC placement., • Assures physicians order on chart for PICC placement., • Assures Informed Consent has been obtained., • Performs time out; correct patient identifier prior to initiating PICC procedure., • Demonstrates ability to perform PICC placement maintaining aseptic technique utilizing measures that prevent patient discomfort and trauma related to procedure., • Demonstrates high level skills in critical thinking and assessment related to vascular access devices., • Maintains clinical competency by inserting a minimum of six PICCs/year and by performing one observed successful PICC insertion, • Documents insertion of PICC (or midline), confirmation of placement by radiologist for PICC, and medication administration, in accordance with company policy, • Provides facility nurses/staff instructions about the patient's PICC (or midline) care and maintenance, • Assist Territory Managers in meetings for clinical support as needed, • Assist Director of Vascular Access in facility rounds to meet with and support Directors of Nursing, Administration and Nursing staff, • Is responsible for the fiscal viability of the PICC program by entering the charges for the insertion, proper usage of equipment, and productive use of time, • • Undergraduate Degree in Nursing, • • Current RN (Registered Nursing) license, • • PICC Certification, • • Current BLS certification, • • Must have good knowledge base for caring for central venous catheters., • • Strong oral and written communication skills • • 2 years of OR, IR, or PICC insertion experience Pay Rate : starting at $21\Hour + Case Pay mn $100 for PICC lines Flexible Schedule Benefits: TridentCare offers a competitive wage and robust benefit package to full time employees. Job Description NexGen and Transcend Surgery Center Assistant Director / Director of Nursing Position Summary The Assistant Director / Director of Nursing plays a key leadership role within our clinical teams. You will play a pivotal role in providing top-tier medical care while leading clinical operations for our nursing team. This position demands excellence in patient treatment, a strong focus on patient education, and leadership in optimizing the range of services that NexGen and Transcend offer, including and highlighting minimally invasive procedures. Key responsibilities include day-to-day operations of the operating rooms, managing staff, providing patient care, team mentorship, and clinical administration to ensure a cohesive, patient-centered environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and Mentorship • Mentor and support clinical and administrative teams and other providers by offering guidance, training, and development opportunities., • Has responsibility for the surgery center as it relates to patient safety, patient care standards, and adherence to relevant regulatory and compliance standards., • Assumes direct management and administrative responsibility for the overall operation of the surgery center, including but not limited to hiring, education, evaluation, and management of nursing staff., • Assign tasks to LPNs, registered nurses, scrub techs, X-ray techs, and other OR personnel based on their skills and the surgical procedure., • Ensuring that all nurses are cross-trained in all aspects of circulating, scrubbing, Pre-Op, PACU, and positioning/operating of surgical equipment and machinery, • DON should be proficient in all aspects of all surgical services, including infection control and best practices for sterilization of equipment, • Overseeing the efficient workflow in the operating room, including room turnover and case scheduling., • Monitoring staff performance and addressing any concerns related to patient care., • Lead monthly staff meetings to review best practices, discuss patient care plans, and ensure departmental alignment., • Implements and reinforces action plans and goals that support staff inclusion, empowerment, and development., • Accountabilities include supporting patient outcomes relative to patient flow, clinical outcomes, patient engagement, overall clinical efficiency, and the delivery of culturally competent and consistent care in the surgical center., • Proactively manage position control.
