ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Consultant on the Power Markets team, you will help accelerate 3Degrees’ expansion into the $55B transferable tax credit (TTC) market. Our Power Markets team has a strong reputation of delivering expert renewable energy strategy and implementation services, including advising clients on large, complex transactions such as power purchase agreements (PPAs) and biomethane purchase agreements (BPAs). This position will play an essential role in expanding 3Degrees’ TTC advisory services for corporate clients, which help finance utility-scale clean energy projects. You will provide subject matter expertise on the various aspects of TTC transactions, combining your tax and accounting experience with the team’s deep knowledge of renewable energy projects and energy markets in order to advise clients on the successful execution of tax credit deals. This is a high-impact role requiring a unique blend of tax accounting fluency and a client-facing consulting skillset. You will help move potential advisory engagements from initial sales conversations to close (in conjunction with account executives on the Global Business Solutions (GBS) team) and then execute on those consulting engagements alongside Power Markets team members, all the while providing the technical credibility needed to satisfy corporate tax departments and their external advisors.
