Job DescriptionJob Title: Legal Biller Location: Paramus, NJ (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 per year About the Opportunity A well-established law firm in Paramus, NJ is seeking an experienced Legal Biller to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment, understands the nuances of legal billing, and enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. If you're organized, proactive, and comfortable managing high-volume billing in a professional services setting, this role offers stability and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and process monthly prebills and final invoices, • Edit billing based on attorney feedback, • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines (including e-billing platforms), • Submit invoices through electronic billing systems (e.g., LEDES formats), • Track and follow up on billing approvals and rejections, • Research and resolve billing discrepancies, • Maintain accurate billing records and client matter files, • Assist with accounts receivable follow-up as neededQualifications, • 2+ years of legal billing experience required, • Experience with legal billing software (e.g., Aderant, Elite, Clio, or similar), • Strong understanding of e-billing platforms and client guidelines, • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, • Strong communication skills; ability to work directly with attorneys, • Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelIf you're looking to join a reputable firm where your billing expertise will truly be valued, we'd love to connect.
