Job DescriptionSeeking dedicated and experienced Travel LPNs wanting a Travel Contract to join our Dynamic Team! As a Travel Correctional LPN, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a Correctional Center/Facility located in Ocilla, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare. Position: Correctional Nurse -LPN Location: Ocilla, Georgia Schedule: AM/PM shifts needed - 6a-6p, 6p-6aa Strating hourly Pay: Competitive pay with a travel per diem What You'll Do: As a Correctional Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of compassionate care in a correctional center or facility in Ocilla, GA. Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to the following: • Apply appropriate nursing skills in the area and treatment of inmates/residents., • Operate pill calls, dispense medication, and document as required by applicable policies and/or procedures, • Attend sick calls with the physician to see inmates/residents; prepare a list of inmates/residents to be examined; prepare examining room and equipment., • Examine and assess new inmates/residents with illnesses or injuries or inmates/residents who become ill or injured; refer inmates/residents to the emergency room or other appropriate healthcare facilities as required by their condition., • Monitor, as directed, inmate/resident inpatient hospitalizations for early releases whenever appropriate, • Regularly evaluate the provision of medical services to prevent the inappropriate use or duplication of those services, • Perform emergency procedures as needed and notify Licensed Independent Providers for treatment orders., • Provide guidance, supervise, and monitor nursing care provided by licensed vocational/practical nursing staff and non-licensed medical staffRequirements., • LPN license in Georgia or "Compact" Multi-License, • BLS, • 1+ years of recent correctional nursing experience preferred, • Must be eligible to work in the United StatesWhy Join Us:, • Flexible scheduling: Select Shifts from anywhere using our Scheduling Software, • Pay Period: Weekly direct deposit, • Team Dedication: 24/7 support from our dedicated team, • Benefits: LLH Zero out of pocket cost, • Professional Growth: Expand your nursing proficiency and knowledge while experiencing a range of cases and scenarios that enrich your career journey., • Assess and prioritize patient needs, collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans., • Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses., • Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease prevention., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
