Job Description The Mental Health Association is seeking Per Diem Crisis Outreach Supervisors for our new program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, operating out of the Essex County location. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT will work in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) THE ROLE: Great Big Game Show hosts are world-class hospitality experts who are genuinely delighted to anticipate each individual guest’s needs, enthusiastically serve them, and do whatever it takes to make their day! Hosts at Great Big Game Show will lead guests through our live game show experiences. In each hour-long game show, contestants earn points for their team by competing in 8-10 minigames. BASIC FUNCTION The New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc. provides high-impact tutoring for K through Grade 8 students in math and literacy to close learning gaps. The New Jersey Tutoring Corps seeks to hire substitute tutors to work with scholars in partnership with local education agencies (LEAs). Substitute tutors will work with small groups of scholars, typically in groups of 1-4, in grades K-8, in building skills in math and literacy. This is a per diem position where you would be on call as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Engage with scholars in grades K-8 to build on existing mathematics and/or literacy skills; * Complete daily records on scholar progress and site needs using the tools provided; * Use data to drive instruction; * Communicate regularly with your site coordinator to provide optimum learning- experiences for scholars; * Participate in coaching from an instructional coach; * Use an asset-based approach in working with scholars; * Be responsive and work collaboratively with other tutors and site staff; * Complete all training; * Complete other duties as assigned.
