Job Description EXPECTATION OF WORK HOURS: This is a full-time, nonexempt, hourly (timecard use) position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an a.m. break, p.m. break, and 30-minute meal break at 12:00 p.m. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position works in a warehouse setting, with some possible outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses a volumetric piston filler, drum pump, heat sealer, standard office equipment such as computers, standard warehouse equipment such as manual and motorized material handling equipment as needed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative to those that must be met by an employee to successful perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and kneel. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50-70 pounds, and on occasion lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision. DUTIES: 1. Fulfillment of customer orders. Includes pulling/picking products; packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping., 2. Assist with inventory management within the warehouse, including receiving and storing materials on pallet racks or in bins according to predetermined location., 3. Check in deliveries by matching packing slip to the quantity of items received. Report discrepancies and turn in packing slips/confirmation of receipt to purchasing agent with date received and signature., 4. Operate and conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery (manual and motorized), reporting any mechanical issues and incidents to supervisors., 5. Accurate counting for physical inventory., 6. Maintain a clean, organized work area, and shipping area in compliance with safety regulations., 7. Additional duties may include preparing and packaging DMSO for distribution. Maintain stock through replenishment. Responsibilities may include the transfer of dimethyl sulfoxide from drum to holding tank, preparation of gel formula, fill containers to specified amounts, properly seal containers, construct boxes, pack finished goods into cases, equipment use, and equipment maintenance as needed., 8. Communicate and collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency., 9.
