Job Description Collections Manager |Tulsa, OK Department: Operations/Revenue Cycle Management Reports to: Director of Reimbursement Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Pay range: $62K-$87K Summary: The Collections Manager oversees AR Follow-up and Cash Posting processes, ensuring accurate, timely collections and reduced AR aging. This role requires strong leadership, analytical ability, and collaboration across teams to optimize reimbursement and improve cash flow. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee AR Follow-up and Cash Posting operations., • Analyze AR trends and resolve procedural/system issues., • Lead, mentor, and train AR/Cash Posting staff., • Utilize automation and technology to improve workflows., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing/AR issues., • Develop strategies to improve collections and reduce outstanding balances., • Monitor AR Aging reports and address denials/underpayments., • Ensure timely and accurate posting of ERAs and EOBs., • Reconcile posted payments with bank deposits and resolve discrepancies., • Generate and analyze performance metrics, implementing improvements., • Participate in monthly Revenue Cycle reviews to address denial trends., • Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent combination of education/experience)., • 7+ years’ healthcare experience (Behavioral Health preferred)., • Strong background in AR Follow-up and Cash Posting., • Supervisory/leadership experience required., • Knowledge of government/commercial insurance procedures., • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities., • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite., • Classified as a safety-sensitive position subject to drug/alcohol testing (including marijuana, regardless of medical license). #LM TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER See the great things people are saying by checking out our Google reviews, along with our Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter.Please visit theCareer Centeron our website for some helpful resources to help in your job search, to build a resume, for interview tips and many job opportunities! Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent combination of education/experience). 7+ years’ healthcare experience (Behavioral Health preferred). • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of clerical and administrative support workers., • Supervise the work of office, administrative, or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems., • Resolve customer complaints or answer customers' questions regarding policies and procedures., • Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes., • Review records or reports pertaining to activities such as production, payroll, or shipping to verify details, monitor work activities, or evaluate performance., • Discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems., • Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative staff., • Recruit, interview, and select employees., • Interpret and communicate work procedures and company policies to staff., • Evaluate employees' job performance and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action., • Train or instruct employees in job duties or company policies or arrange for training to be provided., • Research, compile, and prepare reports, manuals, correspondence, or other information required by management or governmental agencies., • Implement corporate or departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management., • Compute figures such as balances, totals, or commissions., • Coordinate activities with other supervisory personnel or with other work units or departments., • Participate in the work of subordinates to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work., • Make recommendations to management concerning such issues as staffing decisions or procedural changes., • Develop or update procedures, policies, or standards., • Design, implement, or evaluate staff training and development programs, customer service initiatives, or performance measurement criteria., • Analyze financial activities of establishments or departments and provide input into budget planning and preparation processes., • Consult with managers or other personnel to resolve problems in areas such as equipment performance, output quality, or work schedules., • Maintain records pertaining to inventory, personnel, orders, supplies, or machine maintenance., • Arrange for necessary maintenance or repair work., • Plan for or coordinate office services, such as equipment or supply acquisition or organization, disposal of assets, relocation, parking, maintenance, or security services., • Monitor inventory levels and requisition or purchase supplies as needed., • Coordinate or perform activities associated with shipping, receiving, distribution, or transportation., • Keep informed of provisions of labor-management agreements and their effects on departmental operations.
