We are looking to add a Lead Animal Care Attendant to our team at Wescott Acres! REPORTS TO: General Manager PERKS: PT Health insurance, PT mental Health, PT telehealth. PAY: $13.00 - $15.00 hour + tips CORE RESPONSIBILITES (include but are not limited to): • Supports Mission, Vision and Values of Destination Pet., • Sanitizes/disinfects pet enclosures and general boarding areas., • Provides clean bedding and ensures pet guests have clean water at all times., • Makes sure that each pet receives the correct type and quantity of food for each meal and maintains cleanliness of food prep areas., • Monitors and accurately charts consumption and elimination of every pet guest; brings concerns to the General Manager or Assistant Manager., • Visually checks pet guests for safety and well-being throughout the day., • May be required to supervise group play for dogs and/or individual activities for pet guests., • May be required to assist with bathing and brushing of canine guests., • Checks and picks up excrement from enclosures and other areas as needed throughout the day., • Monitors pet belongings; cleans belongings as needed; assures the return of pet belongings to owners. Carries pet belongings to storage area, front desk or to assist customers, as needed., • Performs daily laundering of pet bedding and towels., • Assists General Manager in overseeing additional animal care staff in regard to scheduling, coaching, training, and complaints, • Supervises assigned shifts and works with Animal Care Attendants to maintain a clean, safe environment for our pet guests., • Works alongside center management to train new hires in proper animal-handling techniques REQUIREMENTS: Expertise & Experience: • Must be a pet fanatic – pets are part of our family!, • Professional animal care/kennel experience is required, • Displays a professional manner at all times, • Relationship building, • Ability to adapt, • Experience giving medications, • CPR Training preferred but not required, • High School Diploma Physical: • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays., • Must frequently lift 40 pounds., • Must be able to be on feet for the duration of your shift., • Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently., • Must be able to handle dogs of various sizes on leashes., • Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions. As Entertainment Rigger and Stage Hand you will move and spot stage scenic elements during our Broadway/West End Style Musical Theater Productions and be responsible for performer harness checks and flying hook-ups during our theater productions and entertainment events ship wide. You will partner with Automation Operator to maintain all shipwide automation and rigging systems to ensure good repair and proper usage for outdoor deck parties, shows and events. You will report to the Senior Technician Walt Disney Theater Responsibilities : + Move and spot stage scenic elements during our Broadway/West End Style Musical Theater Productions and be responsible for performer harness checks and flying hook-ups during our musical theater productions and entertainment events shipwide + Partner with Automation Operator to maintain all shipwide automation and rigging systems to ensure good repair and proper usage for outdoor deck parties, shows, and events + Train in all outdoor rigging positions to safely operate during shows + Be an important contributor to the Walt Disney Theater Team with responsibilities for load in and load outs, Cast changeovers, new show installations, equipment tests, vendor support, movie premiers and company events Basic Qualifications : + Minimum three years show production experience in a similar role + Experience or qualifications in a theatrical/Entertainment-based rigging operation + Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, electric motors, motor drives and controls, manual and automated rigging devices + Experience with the operation of computerized automation control equipment. + Can work at heights and with heavy equipment Additional Information : This is a SHIPBOARD role You must: + Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel + Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan + Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control + If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations Your Responsibilities: + Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this) + Complete a pre-employment medical + Obtain a criminal background check + Bring approved work shoes ** is a drug-free workplace.
