This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses seeking travel nursing jobs in Georgia healthcare. • Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Midtown Atlanta), • Healthcare Setting: Pre- and post-anesthesia recovery for Radiology and Interventional Radiology (Ultrasound, CT), • Assignment Length: 16 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025, End: 3/30/2026), • Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 - 15:00), • Hours per Week: 40, • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, • Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics, • Unit Size: 11 beds, average daily census 14, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1620 - $1660, • Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome), • Active Georgia or Compact RN license (required at time of application), • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records, • Clinical skills: arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia recognition, EVD, ICP monitoring, IV vasopressors, malignant hyperthermia protocol, opioid analgesics, PCA pump management, Phase I/II PACU, post-epidural management, pre/post IR procedures, procedural sedation, RASS, spinal, IV initiation/maintenance, • Ability to float within facility and within scope of practice, • Two supervisory references preferred, • Deliver pre- and post-anesthesia care for patients in Radiology and Interventional Radiology, • Monitor and manage patients with complex diagnoses: CKD, post-organ transplant, oncology, radiation, hepatic/biliary disease, • Administer medications, manage IVs, arterial and central lines, • Perform and monitor conscious and procedural sedation; respond to emergencies, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy), • Document patient care accurately using Epic EHR, • Float to other nursing units as needed We believe in empowering your career.
