This individual will be an integral member of the on-site Scheduling Department, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of a hyper-scaled data center construction project. Reporting to the Scheduling Department leadership, this role will work closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day site activities and analyze project progress. The Scheduling Manager plays a critical leadership role, preparing presentations, bi-weekly progress narratives, and schedules to communicate across multiple scopes in a complex mission-critical environment. This position requires experience in managing and anticipating challenges while proactively resolving coordination issues in the field. This position is fully onsite inAmarillo, TX. Salary Range: $115,000 $140,000 + 12% Location adjustment + Per Diem + 15% retirment + Amazing Benefits! Essential Responsibilities • Lead the project team through the schedule development process from project initiation to closeout, • Facilitate schedule meetings, including superintendent planning, weekly work planning, and team schedule reviews, • Build schedule detail based on construction drawings and models with input from the project team, • Collect and input status updates, • Observe (walk) the jobsite to verify field progress, • Identify changes to the project schedule and notify the project team of impacts to critical path activities, • Ensure technical schedule integrity is maintained, • Produce and distribute weekly schedules, forecasts, and reports, • Analyze schedule variances, apportion delays, and support closure of time disputes, • Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to the project team on scheduling and schedule updates, • Conduct bi-weekly meetings with scheduling team members to discuss team needs, time-off requests, and career development opportunities for direct reports Qualifications Professional Experience and Education • High School Diploma or GED required, • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree/certification and/or related work experience required, • Educational background in materials and methods of construction, • Minimum of five (5) years of construction project scheduling experience required, • Extensive experience with large industrial and high-tech fabrication projects preferred Position-Related Skills • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), • Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6, • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, • Training in construction document reading, design specifications, and survey techniques, • Experience organizing technical data in a clear and accurate manner; familiarity with CSI specifications, • Strong understanding of construction processes, • Strong visual observation and interpretation skills, • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to build relationships across trades and teams in field environments, • Collaborative team player across departments and leadership levels, • Flexible schedule to support extended hours or off-shift work as needed Physical and Mental Requirements • Workday includes a combination of standing, walking, and sitting, • Must be able to climb stairs (approximately 5% of the day), • Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer work, • Visual acuity (near, mid, and far), color vision, depth perception, and coordination required, • Hearing and speech sufficient for communication in person and via phone, • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs (minimal), • Minimal bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, • High level of mental alertness, accuracy, and attention to detail required, • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and follow through on assignments, • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and planning skills, • High competency in reading, writing, and speaking English; ability to interpret construction documentation and communicate effectively
