Job Description American Conservation Experience (ACE) - Flagstaff, AZ Join American Conservation Experience (ACE) in Flagstaff, Arizona, for a 300- hour, 450-hour or 900- hour AmeriCorps conservation term. Why Join? Members receive a benefits package valued at over $2,000/month, including: • $400/week living allowance (paid biweekly), • Free housing during the term (Flagstaff hostel-style or remote project housing), • Food provided on project days, • Transportation to and from worksites, • Tent provided for on project days, • Eligibility for an AmeriCorps Education Award (upon successful completion; subject to availability), • 8 days on / 6 days off, or, • Habitat restoration, • Trail construction and maintenance, • Reforestation and forest thinning, • Invasive species removal, • A professional meeting with ACE staff, • Facilitating a conservation lesson, • US citizen or permanent resident, • Willingness to work outdoors in challenging conditions, • Ability to hike long distances, carry up to 60 lbs., and perform 10-hour work days, • Hiking/navigation experience, • Interest in conservation careers Apply early by submitting a resume, cover letter, and at least two professional or community references.
