Job DescriptionCNC Field Service Engineer Established 20+ Years Premier Firm Seeking Field Service Associate for CNC Machine Installation and Repair in Fort Myers, FLAn established company based in Fort Myers with over 20 years in business is seeking a Field Service Associate with 2+ years of technical experience to join their team in an onsite work arrangement. This role will focus on installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC, Lathe, and Mill machines and accessories, ensuring proper assembly, calibration, and functionality while providing exceptional customer service and technical support. Offer: $80,000 - $100,000 Based on experience Health insurance 401(k) with matching Paid time off and holidays Travel reimbursement Flexible schedule for field assignments Qualifications: The candidate must have a high school diploma and preferably a two-year technical training or associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, or machine tool assembly.The candidate must demonstrate excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.The candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.The candidate must be computer literate, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and willing to travel, including overnight stays.Prior experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery is strongly preferred. Responsibilities: The associate will install CNC, Lathe, and Mill machines and accessories at customer sites, including assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating, and wiring.The associate will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues on machines and accessories and test operations after installation or repair.The associate will train customers on basic machine functions and maintain professional communication regarding status, diagnosis, and parts required.The associate will complete detailed reports in D365 documenting hours, assessments, repairs, and parts installed. The associate will proactively maintain a safe work environment, learn new machine models and features, and communicate daily with the team leader regarding assignment status and estimated completion.Travel is required, with some assignments involving overnight stays.
