Job DescriptionAccounts Payable Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a large, growing healthcare system in the Albany area. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable activities across multiple campuses, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reimbursements, and related transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to join the largest regionally governed not-for-profit health system in northeastern New York and western New England, with strong potential for long-term growth and advancement. • Menands, NY, • $20–$23/hour, • Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities • Process invoices, reimbursements, refunds, and credits accurately and timely within ERP systems, • Review and manage vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals, • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, discrepancies, and timelines, • Monitor payment schedules, including discounts, rebates, and sensitive payment terms, • Prepare and distribute mailed payments, • Maintain and update supplier records to ensure accuracy of payment details, • Track and manage invoices that cannot be processed in ERP, ensuring proper documentation, • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner, • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including 1099 filings, • Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations, • 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, • Experience with full-cycle AP processing, • Hands-on experience processing vendor invoices and managing vendor relationships, • Proficiency in accounting/ERP software, • Strong Microsoft Office skills, особенно Excel, • Associate’s degree (or comparable experience), • Experience in healthcare or large, multi-entity organizations, • Administrative support experience (filing, scanning, documentation management), • Strong organizational and communication skills, • Collaborative Accounts Payable team of 15+ members, • Business casual dress code, • Be part of a rapidly expanding healthcare system, • Strong potential for contract-to-hire and long-term growth, • Opportunity to gain experience in a large, multi-campus financial environment Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
