Job Description We are seeking an experienced Regional Facilities & Capital Projects Manager to oversee capital improvements, renovations, and maintenance operations across multiple multifamily communities. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge of building systems who can balance field execution with strategic planning, vendor coordination, and quality control. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to company standards, while supporting and developing onsite maintenance teams across the region. Reports To: Director of Asset Management Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX | Travel required across Texas markets What You’ll Do • Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, unit turns, and special projects across multiple properties, • Manage regional maintenance operations and provide hands-on support to onsite maintenance teams, • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality project completion, • Scope projects, obtain and compare bids, manage schedules, and monitor costs against approved budgets, • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, code compliance, and adherence to company standards, • Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs across the portfolio, • Troubleshoot escalated maintenance issues involving HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical, and roofing systems, • Assist with unit turn standards, make-ready timelines, and quality inspections, • Track project progress, manage capital expenditure reporting, and communicate updates to ownership and management, • Ensure all work meets company standards, safety regulations, local building codes, and permitting requirements What We’re Looking For Experience & Background • 7+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance, facilities management, and/or capital project management, • Regional or multi-property oversight experience required, • Demonstrated experience managing capital expenditure budgets, • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously across geographically dispersed sites, • Vendor management experience including bid solicitation, comparison, and contract oversight Technical Knowledge • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems (including boilers, chillers, and split systems), plumbing, electrical, and roofing, • Thorough understanding of renovations, unit turns, preventative maintenance programs, and capital project execution, • Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and inspection requirements in Texas markets, • Proficiency with property management software (Resman, Yardi, or similar platforms) Certifications • EPA Section 608 certification required (Universal preferred); willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire if not currently held, • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain, • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred, • Journey-level experience or trade certification in one or more mechanical disciplines is a plus Other Requirements • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, • Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment, • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between properties across Texas markets Why Join Us • Competitive compensation based on experience, • Leadership role with direct impact on portfolio performance and growth potential, • Join a growing Texas-based multifamily operator managing 6,000+ units with a focus on operational excellence, • Work across a diverse multifamily portfolio in high-growth Texas markets, • Collaborative, fast-paced environment that values efficiency, accountability, and quality work Powered by JazzHR VOZc9VrCf8
