SUMMARY Stand Up To Cancer (“SU2C”), a California nonprofit public benefit corporation that is affiliated with the Entertainment Industry Foundation (“EIF” or the “Foundation”), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is seeking a Development Project Manager. This role will serve as a key liaison between Development, Digital, Production, Finance, and other internal teams to support and project manage year-round fundraising campaign activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management and communication skills to help coordinate campaign deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure consistency across materials and outreach. This position will also be responsible for creating detailed reports on campaign performance, including outreach metrics, social and media impact, and strategic recommendations. In addition, the role will involve generating various donor reports, conducting donor and prospect research, maintaining templates for donor communications in alignment with SU2C’s messaging, and serving as an additional contact for gift processes and reporting across departments. A successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining internal documentation and campaign assets, and contributing to the continuous improvement of campaign operations. Familiarity with donor CRMs (Salesforce NPSP preferred) and fundraising platforms such as GoFundMe Pro or Fundraise Up is a plus. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES EIF/SU2C reserves the right to modify the job responsibilities listed below based on its needs. • Work with Development and Digital teams, and vendors, to help project manage fundraising campaign activities throughout the year, including developing project plans, overseeing campaign timelines, materials, and reporting, and helping to manage and revise processes, deliverables, and deadlines with teams across the organization., • Facilitate and guide meetings and project planning to ensure appropriate scope and resource allocation. Collaborate and help facilitate the resolution of all issues to reach project goals, escalating to leadership as needed., • Manage and communicate ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance., • Collect, analyze, and synthesize campaign project data during project/campaign milestones., • At the conclusion of campaigns, gather feedback from project members, vendors, and collaborators. Leveraging project data and constituent feedback, create a project recap/retrospective to determine and share strengths, challenges, and opportunities for future campaigns., • Run reports for Development, including fundraising reports, pipeline and activity reports, donor and prospect reports, and others as needed., • Review budget allocations for omni-channel campaigns and special projects., • Serve as secondary subject matter expert on gift and acknowledgement processes in order to become a resource for our gift processing and finance teams, and to comprehensively understand all aspects of our gift processing, including campaigns and campaign creation, donor and donation tracking, and creating and tracking receipt and acknowledgement templates in alignment with SU2C’s messaging., • Lead tracking, routing, and documentation of Development materials, including for public giving campaign integrations related to corporate partners., • Donor and prospect research as needed., • Collaborate with other departments and administrative staff as needed., • Attend departmental and other meetings as required., • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned. CORE COMPETENCIES • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills with the capacity to be highly task oriented, • Demonstrate strong personal compatibility with, and commitment to, the Foundation’s/SU2C’s philosophies and mission while maintaining a high degree of professionalism, • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, creatively, efficiently, and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, • Professional demeanor exhibiting the ability to listen actively and to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing), persuasively, and with confidence, • Personable, approachable, and able to build relationships and trust with employees and management, • Proactive problem-solving skills, • The ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining extreme attention to detail and refocus as the job and situations demand, • The ability to work within a team and establish strong working relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education., • 5+ years of relevant fundraising and project management experience, preferably in non-profit organizations, • Experience with Donor CRMs – Salesforce NPSP is preferred, but experience with other CRMs may work as well, • Experience with Workfront is preferred, • A deep understanding of Omni-channel fundraising campaigns is preferred, • Knowledge of/experience with gift and acknowledgement processes and best practices preferred, • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, • Demonstrated ability to analyze fundraising performance metrics and use data to inform strategies, • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, • Business acumen with working knowledge of Fundraise Up, GoFundMe Pro, or other donation platforms.
