Description of Services: The Senior Analyst will serve as a key analytical resource responsible for financial oversight, operational financial analysis, and strategic financial support for designated healthcare entities. Responsibilities are expected to include the following: Financial Analysis & Performance Monitoring • Prepare monthly analysis of financial and operational results compared to established benchmarks including:, • Budget, • Forecast, • Prior year performance, • Operational statistics and other key performance indicators., • Lead analysis of operating plan forecasts versus actual results and identify key risks and opportunities., • Provide ongoing financial monitoring and oversight for assigned healthcare/hospital entities.Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning, • Support entity-level budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial planning activities., • Collaborate with the Director of Budgeting and Finance leadership to manage forecasting processes and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures., • Assist with strategic financial planning initiatives related to operational performance and organizational priorities.Financial Reporting & Decision Support, • Prepare accurate and timely month-end financial reporting packages for areas of responsibility, including supporting analytics and variance explanations., • Partner with the Financial Decision Support team to leverage decision support systems related to forecasting, cost accounting, and financial modeling., • Develop financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making.Cross-Functional Collaboration, • Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders including:, • Financial Operations, • Accounting Services, • Managed Care, • Corporate Finance, • Operational leadership, • Provide financial analysis and reporting support across departments, service lines, and business units as needed.Operational Financial Support, • Support operational leadership with financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance insights., • Coordinate financial analysis across departments and/or regions to support business operations.Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives, • Participate in projects aimed at improving financial reporting processes, analytical tools, and internal management reporting capabilities., • Support initiatives designed to enhance financial transparency, operational efficiency, and leadership decision-making.Executive Communication & Reporting, • Prepare financial analyses and reporting that may be presented to:, • Facility leadership, • Senior leadership, • Executive leadership teams, • Board-level stakeholders when required.
