Fotona is seeking a strategic and results-driven Event Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Fotona events. This role is responsible for creating memorable, brand-aligned experiences across conferences, tradeshows, virtual events, and client engagements. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and operational excellence, and can build scalable systems while fostering strong relationships with internal teams, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and external partners. The role will report to the Director of Marketing, US. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute events strategy, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, client events, and experiential marketing initiatives., • Manage and mentor team, fostering professional growth and high performance., • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of all Dental events, including budgeting, vendor management, logistics, content, and attendee experience., • Evolve or develop systems, platforms, relationships, and processes to manage all aspects of events, including registration, attendee tracking, communication, analytics, and post-event follow-up, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and high-quality execution., • Identify, engage, and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry influencers to participate in events as speakers, panelists, or ambassadors, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and messaging., • Build and manage relationships with external partners, venues, vendors, and agencies to ensure high-quality event delivery. Engage in contract negotiations for cost-effective event delivery., • Collaborate with internal teams (ex. marketing, sales) to ensure events align with brand messaging, business objectives, and lead generation goals., • Ensure lead and engagement data capture. Monitor and analyze event performance metrics such as engagement KPI and ROI to continuously improve future events. Provide reporting and feedback to leadership., • Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing to develop event and tradeshow concepts, messaging, and creative assets that align with overall brand strategy and campaign objectives., • Collect and analyze post-event feedback from attendees, stakeholders, and internal teams to identify areas of improvement and optimize future events., • Ensure compliance with all legal, health, safety, and accessibility regulations for events., • Stay current with event trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend innovative approaches.Qualifications:, • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field., • 7+ years of experience in event management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role., • Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-channel events, including corporate conferences, trade shows, and virtual experiences., • Strong project management, organizational, and budget management skills., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously., • Experience with event technology platforms, CRM integration, and marketing automation is a plus.Skills:, • Outstanding project management and organization skills, able to self-manage timelines, anticipate workflow, balance priorities, and flexibility to adjust as needed in a busy and ever-changing environment., • Strong attention to detail, able to complete multiple ongoing multi-task assignments accurately and on time., • Self-disciplined with a proven track record of dependability, consistency, and sound judgment., • Collaborative team player who takes ownership of assigned responsibilities and effectively communicates with stakeholders who may have wide ranges of experience, potentially up to CEO level experience., • Excellent ability to build positive relationships and facilitate productive interactions with internal and external customers in various geographic locations across the United States and among diverse groups., • Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and familiarity with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation platforms is a strong plus., • Management experience, to include internal and contracted staff management., • Office Suite Skills, Google Docs, Smartsheets, experience a plus.Requirements:, • Ability to travel domestically within the US to provide onsite logistical support and coordination at some weekend tradeshows/events, approximately 10-20 times per year., • Ability to travel internationally to provide onsite logistical support 1-2 times per year., • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed., • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 to 50 pounds on a daily/weekly basis, ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs. occasionally, and ability to push/pull very heavy equipment on wheels/casters seldom., • Ability to stand, push/pull, bend, squat, stretch, reach, twist/turn, walk, and reach throughout the day, and work at a computer and sit for extended periods.Compensation:, • Competitive pay based on experience., • Excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance., • 401(k) with matching.
