Clinical Oversight & Quality • Ensure medical appropriateness of admissions and continued care, • Review and approve clinical policies and procedures, • Participate in QAPI program as physician leader, • Participate in or lead interdisciplinary group meetings, • Provide medical perspective on care planning, • Review and certify/recertify terminal prognosis, • Serve as physician of record when attending unavailable, • Provide medical consultation to clinical staff, • Make home visits for complex cases as needed, • Ensure medical services meet CoP requirements, • Participate in survey preparation and response, • Review Face-to-Face documentation accuracy, • Provide medical education to clinical staff, • Review staff competency in clinical areas, • Guide evidence-based practice adoption, • Liaison with referring physicians, • Represent agency in medical community, • Build relationships with hospitals and specialists, • Advise leadership on clinical strategy, • Support new service line development, • Identify clinical differentiation opportunities, • Guide technology and treatment adoption Required Qualifications • MD or DO with current, unrestricted license in state, • Board certified in relevant specialty, • Understanding of home health/hospice regulations, • Board certified in hospice and palliative medicine (hospice), • Prior home health/hospice experience, • Geriatrics or internal medicine background, • Local community connections, • Teaching/education experience

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Customer service–oriented with a friendly, professional demeanor.
