American Traveler is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Mammography Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Outpatient mammography department, • Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic breast biopsies, and DEXA scans, • Uses Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX, and GE mammography equipment, • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, • Potential Saturday shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, as needed, • No floating required, • Patient population includes adults requiring breast imaging and bone density studies, • Utilizes Epic for charting, • Responsibilities include conducting mammography exams, stereotactic breast biopsies, and DEXA scans, • First-time travelers are accepted, • Grey scrubs are required, • Modules are completed during orientation, with the first 8 hours non-billable, • RTO (requested time off) must be provided at the time of application; no additional RTO will be accepted after submission, • Local travelers within 50 miles are accepted at a different rate\n \n Requirements\n, • Valid ARRT (R) and (M) certification is required, • Valid state license or certification required at the time of consideration (license required if applicable), • Minimum 2 years recent mammography experience required, • Ability to perform screening/diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic breast biopsy, and DEXA scans, • Familiarity with Hologic and GE mammography technology, • Epic charting experience preferred, • Must complete required labs within 48 hours of signing, • PA fingerprints required; candidates must be willing to travel for fingerprinting if needed, • Two professional references from supervisors within the past two years and copies of certifications required\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
