Certification Details • ACLS, • BLS, • NRP, • STABLE, • AWHONN, • Wyoming RN or multi-state RN licenseJob Details, • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment., • Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care., • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family., • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation., • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs., • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances., • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient., • Circulates during C/Sections, attends deliveries assisting the physician as needed., • Follows appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients., • Attends the neonatal station in the C/Section suite and completely assesses the neonate post delivery., • Attends fetal monitoring certification classes every two years., • Attends STABLE certification class if offered and is NRP certified., • Able to identify necessary information to be communicated to physicians and patients.Job Requirements, • Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE & AWHONN certifications; must be through the American Heart Association., • Must have Wyoming RN or multi-state RN license., • Must have 2 years recent RN Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN & L&D/LDRP experience., • Candidate may be required to float to another unit depending on facility census, only as helping hands or sitter.Unit Specific Information, • RN Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN & L&D/LDRP experience required, • Includes care of OB/GYN patients (post-op hysterectomy), Antepartum care, Triage care, Labor and Delivery care, and Postpartum, • May float to other units as helping hands or sitterAdditional Details, • Facility Setting?, • Will position be required to float to other units?, • Number of beds in your facility?, • Years of experience required?, • Who else in your organization will be involved in the interview or selection process?, • Willing to review clinicians with pending state license?, • Is there anyone in the past that has worked for you that you would consider rehiring?, • What is the work schedule for this position?
