The Senior Manager will lead a team responsible for inventory optimization, supplier performance, service levels, and working capital management across a critical portfolio of imported products. CLIENT OVERVIEW - NAPA Auto Parts distributes automotive replacement parts, accessories, and service items throughout the U.S. More than 800,000 parts are sold under the NAPA brand, as well as Key National Brands. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - The Senior Manager, Inventory Planning & Replenishment, serves as a strategic leader responsible for balancing customer service, inventory productivity, supplier performance, and working capital objectives across an assigned portfolio of products. This individual will lead a team of Senior Analysts and Analysts responsible for inventory planning, replenishment, forecasting, and supplier management activities while partnering closely with Merchandising, Sales, Suppliers, and Supply Chain leadership. Specific functions and responsibilities of the position include: • Lead and develop a team of Senior Analysts and Analysts responsible for inventory planning, replenishment execution, supplier management, and inventory optimization, • Drive achievement of key performance metrics including service levels, fill rates, inventory turns, inventory health, excess inventory reduction, and working capital performance, • Develop inventory stocking and replenishment strategies that optimize customer service while improving inventory productivity, • Partner with Category Management, Sales, Suppliers, and Supply Chain leadership to align inventory strategies with overall business objectives, • Own supplier performance management activities including scorecards, service reviews, inventory planning discussions, and accountability initiatives, • Support new product introductions, supplier transitions, promotional activities, and seasonal inventory planning efforts, • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, talent development, and data-driven decision making, • Represent Supply Chain in business planning discussions and communicate inventory performance and recommendations to leadership PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS - The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of inventory planning expertise, leadership capability, business acumen, and analytical strength. This individual will possess the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions while operating effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Qualifications include: • 10+ years of supply chain, inventory planning, replenishment, logistics, operations, or related experience, • 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams, • Demonstrated experience within inventory planning and replenishment, demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, • Experience managing inventory performance metrics including service levels, inventory turns, working capital, and excess inventory, • Experience working within complex distribution, retail, manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, or consumer products environments, • Experience supporting imported products, long-lead-time supply chains, global sourcing, or supplier-driven inventory models preferred, • Strong analytical capabilities including scenario modeling, forecasting, inventory analysis, and business case development, • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools preferred PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS - We seek a collaborative, results-oriented leader who thrives in an environment of change and continuous improvement. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
