Job DescriptionJob Title: ElectricianJob Description We are seeking an Intermediate Electrician to join our team for a first shift role from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM in Buffalo, NY. This position involves working within an industrial environment, focusing on electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role supports a company that specializes in custom-engineered water, wastewater, and process separation solutions for various industrial clients. Responsibilities • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within industrial settings., • Pull wire and support system builds, ensuring safety protocols are followed., • Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation., • Conduct inspections and testing to verify electrical system functionality., • Maintain accurate documentation and records of electrical work., • Collaborate with other departments to assist with project execution., • Provide direction and support to junior electricians or apprentices., • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.Essential Skills, • Minimum 2+ years of electrical experience., • Experience in industrial electrical settings is preferred., • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings., • Basic to intermediate PLC experience., • Consistent electrical work history or formal electrical schooling.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience working with 220V to 480V electrical systems., • Ability to perform full conduit installation, including bending, threading, and mounting., • Knowledge of motor controls, including starters, contactors, overloads, and VFD basics., • Familiarity with control panel wiring, termination, labeling, and layout., • Experience with industrial sensors, limit switches, relays, and basic instrumentation., • Ability to use electrical test equipment such as multimeters, continuity testers, and megohmmeters., • Basic understanding of lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety practices., • Capable of troubleshooting control circuits and identifying wiring or component issues.
