Clinics are responsible for a variety of on-site primary, urgent, and initial emergency care services. The Advanced practitioner is responsible for leadership and management of clinic staff. Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee medical staff at a DOS/DOS healthcare clinic., • Collaborate with on-site physicians, other APPs, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care., • Participate in the assessment and stabilization of patients requiring urgent or emergent care., • Provide comprehensive primary and continuing care to patients presenting with a wide range of health concerns., • Clinic services include, but are not limited to health promotion and disease prevention, health maintenance counselling and patient education, diagnosis and directed physical exams, emergent and annual vaccinations, comprehensive STD Testing, • Manage simple chronic conditions through intermittent monitoring., • Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals., • Maintain compliance with all project site procedures, standards, and continuing educational and mandatory training requirements., • Coordinate with medical evacuation teams for patients requiring care beyond the capabilities of the clinic., • Participate in MASCAL exercises. Basic Requirements/Certifications: • Full unrestricted U.S. (State) Licensure, Certification, or Registration required in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia., • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency., • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)., • Minimum 5 years’ recent experience including 6 months within the last year, • Graduate of accredited or provisionally accredited American Academy of Physician Assistants and hold a NCCPA certification., • Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements, • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time., • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required., • Valid US Passport with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay in Iraq., • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, specifically a MRPT. Additionally, the APP collaborates with the supervising Physicians, Medical Directors, and Clinical Management team on patient cases when appropriate. Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities: • Provides evidence-based, episodic care to patients based on current guidelines – independently and in collaboration with other medical providers – following standards and protocols set by TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track, • Works within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physician(s) or by specific protocols, • Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical examinations, • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests as needed, • Partners with patients to determine, plan, and initiate appropriate treatment, and adjust treatment if necessary, • Safely prescribes and/or dispenses medications, • Documents medical information of patients and reviews patients' histories at each visit, • Evaluates response to treatments and medications, • Consults, collaborates, and refers with other physician(s) when appropriate, • Counsels' patients and performs patient education, • Performs minor procedures, i.e., laceration repair, incision and drainage, minor foreign body removal, etc. within the limitations outlined in the company protocols, • Manages pediatric (3 months +) and adult patients for both acute and chronic conditions, • Actively maintains knowledge of current medical research and trends, • Provides administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory tests, results, and prescription clarifications when needed, • Completes other duties as assigned, • Current state licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Associate, required, • Current BLS, required, • Current certification with the NRCME to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) exams, required, • Two years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate, strongly preferred, • Clinical experience in an emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting, strongly preferred, • DEA license with no restrictions, preferred, • This position operates on-site in a professional medical environment, • Consistent use of technology platforms throughout shift to complete assigned work tasks, • Frequent use of working on a computer to complete assigned work tasks, • 13 shifts per month, • Approximately 36 hours per week, • Work week to include Sunday through Saturday with weekend and evening hours Tampa General Hospital and Fast Track Urgent Care have partnered together to create unique clinics for patients to receive compassionate and knowledgeable treatment. Job DescriptionSage Infusion is looking for a patient-focused Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join a rising healthcare startup. This is a full time position that will be based in Tampa, FL. As a retail infusion center managed exclusively by NP, you will be the key provider responsible for Infusion medical treatment, response management, and post care for patients after receiving a physician order. In addition, the Infusion NP will administer and monitor patients in our premises during treatment and provide the necessary education on treatment regimen, condition management, and treatment side-effects when appropriate. The Infusion NP is an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team and will work closely with other staff. This position will be full time, four days in clinic and one day work from home. Major Responsibilities: • Initiates and implements nursing plan of treatments; evaluating patient progress towards goals. Organizes and participates in the provision of direct patient care, performs treatments, administers medications, and educates patients and families/caregivers. Modifies plan of treatment in response to changing patient status or physician orders to achieve established or revised patient care goals., • Assesses patient needs and physical status at each visit through health data access and patient interview.
