Responsible for filling prescriptions under the supervision of Pharmacist in the Hospital Pharmacy. Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to hospital patients, computes charges, and enters data in the system. Implements inventory control processes and systems and orders stock and merchandise within regulatory guidelines. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types out labels for bottles., 2. Receives and stores incoming supplies, counts stock, and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records., 3. Prepares intravenous (IV) packs using sterile technique under the supervision of the hospital pharmacist., 4. Cleans equipment and sterilizes glassware according to prescribed methods., 5.
